Military,
Veterans, and Defence: It is the duty of the state
to ensure its people are adequately defended against
potential threats, If history has taught us anything, the
only country we can truly rely on to defend Britain in a
time of crisis is ourselves. We therefore believe in the
need for a strong and well trained military. Successive
cuts in defence spending have left our Nations armed
forces perilously weak. We will boost Britain's armed
forces to ensure that they are able to deal with any
emergency and defend our Nation and overseas territories
and our independence. We will build up the armed forces
to a strength at which we are capable of defending
ourselves. All services will get up to date equipment. We
will no longer police the world, but it is essential to
respond vigorously if
attacked.
The armed
forces are loyal servants of the state thus improving
their wage is a priority, the housing conditions and
standard of equipment they currently endure are nothing
short of a national disgrace. We would also make it a
priority to provide free top class medical services for
the injured, disabled servicemen and women. We want to
provide decent benefits to ex servicemen and women,
taking an active role in after military life providing
counselling, advice and other such
services.
A new special
rapid unit will be formed for domestic and international
service to counter terrorism, or violent elements which
directly threaten the safety and integrity of the United
Kingdom. Terrorism cannot be justified as it seeks to
force a change of government or policy through fear
rather than persuasion. Our government would do all in
its power to stop any form of terrorism in Great Britain
from within or outside forces.
Veterans of
the Armed Forces of our nation should be given the best
health care available and that our veteran's
Administration should honour their responsibility to our
nation's veterans. We support and honour our past as well
as our present veterans in all
areas.
We propose the
re-introduction of national service as we believe it to
be necessary that every Britisher to be capable of
defending their nation if a time of crisis should ever
arise. After leaving the educational system aged 18,
every male citizen will serve a minimum 2 years in the
ARMY, AIR FORCE, or NAVY, and for women 9 months. This
will provide for the young a financial head start in life
and valuable work experience which will arm the populous
with health and safety awareness, team skills, and a
reaffirmed sense of national consensus. There will of
course be an option for those with any medical problems,
or any other exceptional reason to work in the civil
service.
Foreign Relations: We support a friendly
but non-interventionist foreign policy that seeks not
foreign conquests or colonies. We believe that it is
impossible for the United Kingdom to perform the role of
the world's policeman, so we will bring our troops back
from Germany and withdraw from NATO, since recent
political developments make both commitments obsolete. We
refuse to risk British lives in meddling 'peace-keeping'
missions in parts of the world where no British interests
are at stake we want a position of armed neutrality. We
opposed the UK's military involvement in Iraq. We call
for the immediate withdrawal of UK troops and an end to
foreign occupation in Iraq. We will work hard to maintain
good business and economic relations with our European
neighbours and British Commonwealth nations. This policy
is drawn on the understanding that our foreign policy
must above all serve the long term position and interests
of Great Britain; when the interests of our nation are
threatened we will protect the nation with maximum force
necessary politically or
militarily.
European Union: The Integralist Party is
a euro-sceptic party; we seek to reaffirm Britain's
independence in the European sphere and will push at all
times for a more federalised Europe with greater autonomy
for not only Britain but all the free peoples of Europe.
In particular we would like to abolish centralised legal
legislation which is a blatant infringement of the
autonomy of independent nations, and serves no
constructive purpose. We would like to see the European
Union become a more responsible, accountable and
democratic body with reduced powers. Most importantly we
will ensure that any relationship with Europe must
benefit Britain and not hurt its interests as it
currently does. We believe that Britain, as the second
largest contributor to the European budget, has the right
and the power to demand these fair and just conditions
which would make vastly improve the Union as something
other than a vehicle for Franco-German interests. If such
conditions are not met Britain will have been given no
other option than to completely withdraw from the
European Union, and the terrible consequences would be no
other fault than the arrogance of
Brussels.
Foreign
aid: We believe
that charity begins at home; we give billions to other nations,
while thousands in this country are living, working, and
raising children below the poverty line. We will only give
foreign aid when we see fit not by obligation, national guilt
or international pressure. We would immediately stop all
foreign aid to countries, organisations or groups that we
consider hostile to our nation directly or indirectly, all
other forms of aid will be suspended pending
investigation.
Social ethics: We believe that
Integralism is a just and moral system. We believe that
the morals and principles of Integralist ideology to be
superior to that of religious dogma, it is a moral order
that forms the basis of human dignity and human life. We
would establish a new constitutional social order of
liberties, rights and duties to one another and to the
nation.
Such duties
and liberties would be duty in public and liberty in
private, we believe in public people should have the
courtesy conduct themselves in public without vulgarity,
but what people do in privacy is their business and their
business only. We support the traditional family unit as
being part of a natural and healthy lifestyle and believe
the State should protect and promote family
values.
Integralism
has a moral code, and it can never condone anything that
is indecent, immoral, or non-supportive of family needs.
To condone indecency or immorality would be a betrayal of
our commitment to the British people. We would heighten
existing campaigns to discourage smoking, drinking and
gambling among our citizens.
Religion: Integralism is committed to a
secular Nation; recent advances by religious communities
in Britain threaten our liberty, nation and even our very
lives and are therefore at odds with human dignity and a
single national government. Religion in this country will
be perfectly permissible so long as it does not undermine
public life; it must remain a private venture and not be
allowed to wield political power. Religion will be
recognised as a business and subject to the same taxes as
any other business.
Affirmative Action: Precisely because we
believe in a colour blind society, we oppose all
affirmative action programs which are simply reverse
discrimination. We believe that all citizens should be
judged only on merit. True equality can never be reached
by emphasising our differences and such an attitude fuels
ethnic tension and benefits only our present system of
rule.
On that basis
we will bring to an end the 'Equal opportunities scheme'
which makes small to medium sized companies to take on a
quota of workers from the British ethnic community. We
call for citizens to be hired on merit and merit alone
not ethnicity.
Citizenship: To be a citizen of our
Nation must imply that such a citizen must identify with
that Nation; its culture, its heritage, its people, and
work towards that good. Class, sex and religion must
come second to, or be preferably non existent when
compared to allegiance the nation. The existence of
Marxist, Religious fanatics, not only poses the greatest
threat to so called "democracy" in the modern world and
the integrity of the nation but the existence of
civilization itself. Therefore to be a citizen of the
United Kingdom it would be mandatory that to benefit from
one of the greatest countries in the world must entail at
the very least a sincere attempt on the part of all to
conform to that heritage and actively integrate into the
wider community as one people in one
nation.
Immigration: Because of the importance
of the integrity of the nation, we reject entirely the
notion of a globalised world in which millions are
shifted around the world like cattle for nothing but
momentary economic gain. Those coming to this country
should be able to respect our laws and
customs.
We believe
that our nation is entitled to secure its borders and
would step up the campaign to deport illegal immigrants.
We believe in securing the national borders by whatever
means necessary. We would also reduce mass immigration
and asylum into the United Kingdom. Authorised immigrants
would need to have special skills that are needed in the
U.K., they would also have to speak, read and write
English and finally have enough money to support
themselves for a year as no money or free medical or
housing would be given unless special circumstances have
been agreed by the state with the applicant. Mass
immigration would be stopped for the next five
years.
A visa would
be needed for any non U.K. citizen who wished to enter
the country, not including citizens of Canada, Australia,
and New Zealand.
Though we
believe the notion of free movement in Europe to be
admirable, a Europe where the huddled masses scramble to
where the pickings are thickest is hardly a vision of
strong free European nations in mutual cooperation. We
would therefore like to see some reasoned restriction on
the level movement within Europe for those who lack
necessary skills, qualifications and possess a criminal
record.
The right to
British citizenship should be automatically granted due
to birth but not length of residency. We believe that
citizenship by length of residency needs to be earned by
dedication, loyalty and service to the
nation.
Language: We believe that English should
be the official language of the United Kingdom. The
ability to write and speak the same should be a
prerequisite for citizenship.
Human Rights: We would seek to repeal
the Human Rights Act and replace it with a constitutional
British Bill of Rights that clearly enshrines the rights,
liberties and responsibilities of the British people,
whilst remaining signatories to the European Convention
on Human Rights.
