The
Integralist Party Policy on the E.U
The
Integralist Party elected Parliament would simply repeal
the 1972 European Communities Act. The Lisbon Treaty
contains a 'get out clauses' which Europhiles have been
using to say that this is a reason why a party like
Integralist Party should support it. But that over
complicates the issue and makes Westminster less powerful
for want of a word than the EU Institutions. The Lisbon
treaty would complicate issues because it hands the EU
legal personality for the first time officially and as
such it has the power to sign international treaties on
behalf of the UK.
Once the
Integralist Party is voted into power we can start
undoing all the harmful legislation that the EU have
forced us to place on the statute books. Regulation which
harms our small businesses and closes down abattoirs
meaning that animals for slaughter have to ensure hours
and hours in trucks. Or legislation that stops us
deporting foreign criminals if they are from the EU or
that even stops us denying entry to a known murderer or
rapist if they are from an EU member
state.
The nonsense
put about that the UK would suffer if we left the EU is
staggering. We are the 3rd biggest trading nation in the
world and our trade deficit with the EU is considerable.
In short, we buy from them more than they buy from us.
Their companies would be screaming at the governments if
they even considered imposing barriers to trade with the
UK. Mercedes, for example, are still going to want to
export to their biggest market: us. But it also means we
can help the developing world currently treated with the
utmost disdain by the EU. A third of the earth's
population now lives in a Commonwealth country. If we
could once again start treating our commonwealth with
respect and have a commonwealth trading block we would
not only help ourselves but the millions of people living
in abject poverty. It's a theory of economics which has
been around for hundreds of years. But did you know, for
example, that the EU buys up the fishing rights of poor
African countries as we have over fished our waters which
means that they cannot engage in an industry which would
help them develop and lift themselves out of poverty. We
also, because of the EU, have to impose non tariff
barriers to poor countries as EU countries cannot compete
with them on resources such as land and labour. So we
regulate them out of the market. But you can bet your
bottom dollar that come the G8 there'll be much talk of
all the 'aid' given to their undemocratic
governments.
Currently, 80%
of our laws come from Brussels and these laws can only be
developed in the unelected European Commission. This is
currently made up of 27 politicians from the Member
states. Ours is Peter Mandelson, twice kicked out of the
British government and now more powerful than Gordon
Brown. For a summary of what the Commission is like, you
might want to look at this
clip:
Yes, some
countries in the EU will suffer when we leave, because we
pay for much of their infrastructure and we are a net
contributor to the EU budget. But more important is being
able to have the people who make the laws in our country
answerable to the British people. To have the police on
our streets answerable to parliament and not to the EU,
as will happen with the Lisbon Treaty. Our foreign
secretary has not ruled out allowing the EU paramilitary
force to be on our streets during the Olympics. But
mainly, countries in the EU who wish to continue with
their drive to federalism will be happy to have parties
like ours gone, because the British people are becoming
rather irksome to them. There are many countries in the
EU who simply don't believe in free trade and
competition, who want huge power to the unions and there
to be a ban on how many hours people work, even if, as
has been reported in the press on many an occasion, that
means an ambulance is forbidden from answering a 999
call.
We are not
alone in this view, if you believe all this why not just
vote for UKIP a crypto-libertarian entity of glaze eyed
Thatcherites who's 'direct action' approach revolves
around childish and criminal exploits of dressing up as
chickens, playing with inflatable bulldozers, tearing
down flags and discussing the finer points of the
inter-nation Nazi-Communist conspiracy and wishing they
were all born Americans. The fact of the matter is
that these 'so called' patriots in UKIP and the Tory
'far-right' may want to take us out of Europe, but only
as a means to surrender ourselves to international
finance which governs the whole world, so their dream of
becoming the 51st state may be fulfilled. These
individuals do not have Britain's interests at heart only
the continuation of the international money system, their
'financial masters'. Though they may well be the only
people leading the fight against Brussels, these so call
patriots would do so anyway even if it were in Britain's
interest, the fact of the matter is it just so happens
they are right. Though we see eye to eye on the issue of
Europe theirs is a Neo-liberal fantasy, ours is the
national calling to create a greater independent
Britain.
As for the
other parties we have been, and doubtless will continue
to be denied the opportunities other parties get for
talking about the issues that concern us. It's a sad
situation but the Labour, Tories and Lib Dems are all in
agreement on EU membership and so would rather it wasn't
on the agenda. The media still see it as foreign news and
most of their journalists don't understand the EU. This
was evident last week when not one national paper
mentioned that the reason Royal Mail was in so much debt
was because of an EU Directive. It was mentioned in the
government report but the journalists decided that their
readers didn't have to know.
In
Short
The United
Kingdoms E.U. membership costs £40 according to a recent
CIVITAS report up to £47 billion a year according to some
other reports. That money should be spent on the British
people in GB and its territories. The E.U. is removing
our government's ability to govern the nation and to make
our own decisions about our own future. Decisions in the
E.U. are made by unelected and unaccountable
Commissioners, who now make 80% of our
laws.
Regarding the
E.U we would like to see
happen:
We want to
govern ourselves with our own government in Westminster
London.
We want to
replace the Treaties on European Union with a free trade
agreement .
We want to
negotiate an agreement with the E.U. comparable to the
ones Norway and Switzerland have. They have a free trade
agreement and only have to implement a minimum number of
E.U. regulations, paying a modest fee for the privilege
of free trade .
We want to
secure new and strong trading agreements with our
Commonwealth.
We want to
undo all the harmful E.U legislation that we have been
forced to accept
We want to
save £40 billion a year minimum the day that we leave the
E.U and spend it on making our nation better for all
citizens.
We want to
replace all those E.U. Treaties with a simple free trade
agreement.
